If there was only one thing I'd want people to know about me it would be that I love writing stories. Ever since I was little, when I would watch movies and TV, I would always think about how things could've turned out differently for the story. I've always loved the sense of satisfaction that comes with understanding a character on the screen so well that you know what will happen before it happens. But my absolute favourite part about writing is the feeling you get when a story you write becomes more than a thought in your head. Watching other people read or watch your work and listening to their questions and feedback fills me with a sense of pride that I can't get anywhere else. These characters that I write and locations that I create, when I first create them, they're just thoughts, but once others begin to care for the characters I've written and the world they live in, they are no longer ideas. They become something more; they become real.

AI can be an extremely helpful tool for creative writers when used responsibly. AI should not be used to avoid the heavy lifting and claim it as your own work. It is a tool to help writers overcome obstacles that have been troubling authors for centuries, like writers block.
Personally, my use of AI is primarily simpler tasks like helping with the naming of characters, locations, or items. I also use it to analyze my writing to see where the AI model believes the plot will go. This is helpful because it can help me see narrative pathways that I could not before. Additionally, using AI in this manner can help me ensure that my writing is conveying my story in the way I envision it.
