In my last year of high school, I was given an assignment to write and illustrate a children's short story. At the time, I had only a small amount of writing experience, and no experience writing children's stories. I took this opportunity to push myself as a creative writer, and looking back, this may be where my love for the creative process began.
This story is wild and whacky, and at times it may not make sense, but that's what I love about it most. It is a teenager's take on what a children's book looks like.
